ADX, Australia’s largest dental exhibition has been evolving since 2020. No longer exclusive to Sydney, the show now operates across three cities - Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane - every 24 months. Following the success of ADX Melbourne in 2021, show organiser, Australian Dental Industry Association, is pleased to announce another full-strength ADX on the horizon for the Victorian capital.

Despite the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the related business shutdowns, the Australian oral health sector has continued to grow. The IBIS Dental Services Report released in August this year showed growth in dental services of 1.4% with revenue of $10.6 billion and a profit of 26.8%.

Mr Kym De Britt, CEO of the Australian Dental Industry Association points out that continued growth for practitioners means a further requirement for dentistry-specific products and services. “The market has dictated increasing demand for the latest in oral health technology, innovation, and services. That market is not exclusive to Sydney, so neither is ADX. What was previously a biennial event held only in Sydney has grown to three events across three cities in the same time span.

Our first event in Melbourne last year was a great success and we look forward to welcoming more oral health professionals back to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre next March.” Mr De Britt said.

With the additional shows now a permanent fixture on the calendar, the next ADX will be held in Melbourne from 30 March - 1 April 2023.

The exhibition is not only about access to state-of-the-art products and world-class suppliers, but the events that run alongside ADX, with breakfast events, free onsite childcare, as well as CPD and Learning Lab sessions.

The exhibition traditionally kicks off with the Opening Breakfast. Melbourne will feature Founder and CEO of social enterprise, Who Gives a Crap, Simon Griffiths. Like past keynote speakers, Griffiths is expected to entertain and inspire, delivering an audience full of energy to the exhibition floor when the show opens.

ADIA’s Women in Dentistry founded in 2020 promotes the professional advancement of women in the oral health sector through networking, mentoring and education. With this focus on career progression and celebration, the always popular Women in Dentistry Breakfast. this time featuring international keynote speaker Lucy Bloom is sure to be at capacity.

The breakfasts, CPD program and Learning Lab sessions all add networking and tangible education opportunities for visitors. This teamed with the excitement of the People’s Choice Awards, exhibitor attractions including free gelato, smoothie bikes, mini golf and prize draws, along with the car giveaway, all add to the atmosphere at Australia’s premier dental event.

“Visitors at ADX experience the best the industry has to offer. The vibe is fantastic. It’s a pleasure to walk in every day and just feel the buzz around the room,” Mr De Britt said.

Interest in the event is already clear with booths sold out and a waitlist in place for exhibitors. More than 5,000 dental professionals enjoyed all ADX Melbourne had to offer in 2021. In 2023 the number promises to climb, so registering early will ensure you gain first access to all the additional value of the show including free childcare, an expert CPD program and networking breakfasts.

You can register for free entry to the exhibition or purchase tickets to any of the events by heading to the ADX Melbourne website.
