The ADIA member base comprises businesses that range in size from small family entities through to local operations of large, multinational therapeutic product suppliers. They share common aspirations for the growth of their business, the creation of jobs and the financial sustainability of the dental industry. They are bound by a universal commitment to the supply of quality dental products and services.
ADIA advocates on behalf of members to support them in achieving these goals. Advocacy is both planned and ad-hoc to enable agility in responding to emerging issues and challenges. Strategies include:
- Representation to Government
- Submissions to the Therapeutic Goods Administration
- Parliamentary Roundtable
- Parliamentary Friends of the Dental Industry group
- Participation in advocacy groups such as the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Therapeutic Goods Administration
