ADIA Terms and Conditions for In-person Events
1. General Terms
1.1. All tickets are sold are by the Australian Dental Industry Australia (ADIA).
1.2. By attending any ADIA event/s, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions which relate to the purchase of ticket/s as well as attendance at the following event/s and bind you.
1.3. Any event registration or ticket sales not completed will not be held.
1.4. For admission to licensed venues or areas guests may be required to provide proof that they are over 18 years of age. Failure to do so may result in entry being denied.
1.5. Guests are not permitted to bring the alcohol or outside catering to the event, unless otherwise specified.
1.6. Any dietary requirements must be advised at the time of purchase. Any late notice of dietary requirements will be subject to the availability of the venue.
1.7. The right of admission is subject to ADIA's & the venue's terms of admission. If these are not met, you will not be permitted to enter the venue.
1.8. By participating in any in-person event organised by ADIA, you agree to abide by the COVID-19 restrictions, guidelines, plans and instructions relevant to the event.
2. Payments
2.1. All tickets are quoted in Australian currency (AUD) unless otherwise specified and include GST unless otherwise specified.
2.2. Credit cards are processed using a secured third-party gateway run by Stripe.
2.3. All ticket/s purchased will be sent though electronically to the email provided at the time of purchase.
3. Transfer of purchased tickets
3.1. The transfer of tickets is at ADIA's sole discretion and ADIA staff must be notified in writing 24 hours prior to the event commencing.
3.2. Entry may be refused if ADIA staff have not approved and/or been notified of any ticket transfer requests.
4. Cancellation Requests
4.1. Guest cancellation request:
4.1.1. For any guests wishing to cancel their ticket, a formal request must be made in writing and sent to events@adia.org.au. Any requests for refunds are subject to the following cancellation policy:
i) 15 days or greater prior to the event commencement date 100% refund will be provided
ii) between 14-8 days prior to the event commencement date 50% refund will be provided
iii) 7 days or less prior to the event commencements date a 100% cancellation charge will applied.
4.2. Event Cancellations
4.2.1. If any of the ADIA State Branch Christmas Celebrations are cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, the ADIA has the sole and absolute right to:
i) reschedule the event, or
ii) issue a partial/full refund, or
iii) not issue any refunds.
Please note that the decision of the issuer in such cases will be deemed final and binding.
Appointment Books
1. Payments of Appointment Books
1.1. All Appointment Book purchases are quoted in Australian currency (AUD) unless otherwise specified and include GST unless otherwise specified.
1.2. Credit cards are processed using a secured third-party gateway run by Stripe.
1.3. Payments for Appointment Books are final. There are no refunds.
1.4. If there are any issues with your Appointment Book order, please contact national.office@adia.org.au.
ADIA Webinars
1.1. All webinar purchases are quoted in Australian currency (AUD) unless otherwise specified and include GST unless otherwise specified.
1.2. Credit cards are processed using a secured third-party gateway run by Stripe.
1.3. If you are not able to attend the webinar on the planned date and time, you will receive a recording of the webinar after the fact.
2. Refund and Cancellation Requests
2.1. Refunds are available for live webinars and at ADIA's sole discretion. Notice must be provided in writing to ADIA and advised 2 or more business days prior to the webinar. Requests can be submitted to events@adia.org.au.
2.2. If no refund request has been made prior to the webinar, no refunds will be provided for failure to attend. Please refer to point 3 if you are unable to attend a live webinar.
2.3. Refunds are not available for webinars on demand.
